Fourcorners Guide to Free Comic Book Summer

Every year comic book fans look forward to the first Saturday in May when Free Comic Book Day takes over their local shop. Here at Fourcorners, it’s our favorite event of the year! This year, Covid-19 threw a wrench in everyone’s plans and FCBD was cancelled. We made the best of it with Free Comic Book Day Safe at Home – a day long virtual event. Well, the comic book industry couldn’t allow FCBD to slide this year…so, Free Comic Book Summer was born!

Free Comic Book Summer spices up New Comic Wednesday from July 15th – September 9th! Each week 4-5 new comics will be available to pick up at your local shop Fourcorners Comics! Free Comic Book Summer features 45 titles from publishers like Marvel Comics, Image Comics, BOOM! Studios, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, DC, and more! Comic styles run the gamut from superhero stories, to TV and movie tie-ins, to sci-fi adventures, all-ages tales, and beyond.

And it wouldn’t be Free Comic Book Day without our yearly fundraiser for Adams County Library. This year, a tip jar will be located at checkout. Proceeds from the jar will go to help the library with literacy programs that benefit our community.
